Frequently asked questions
What are your programs?
Depending on the fit, a program may include small-group classes, private lessons, on-demand video resources and a custom learning plan. Your invitation will say which.
How much do your programs cost?
We have programs for every budget. What you pay depends on your goals, your level, and how long and intensive the program is. You’ll see exact pricing in your invitation, before you commit to anything.
Who should apply?
You’re a good fit if you’re at A2 level or above, you have at least two hours a week, and you have a stable internet connection. Most of our students are preparing for IELTS or TOEFL, using English at work, or living in an English-speaking country.
How do you assess applications?
We look at your reason for learning English, your level, your availability and which programs have space. If none of them are right for you, we’ll say so.
Why are your programs application-only?
Places are limited, and we only work with students we’re confident we can help. Michael’s online lessons have reached over 4,000,000 students, so demand is far higher than the number of places we have.
Do you offer private classes?
Yes — some programs include one-to-one lessons. You’ll see which options include them once your application is accepted.
